With social distancing as the new norm, Compound and dotdotdash has conjured Compound Gallery's vibe onto a virtual stage; creating a connective, mind-expanding experience to inspire both long-time Compound fans and newcomers to the fold.
The Art of Protest further highlights the other pandemic infecting the United States’ DNA: systemic racism and police brutality. This event honors and celebrates the bravehearts at the forefront of justice, protesting across the nation.
The Art of ProtestVirtual Gallery Exhibition showcases photographs by a handful of Black and Latino photographers including Lenny S., Young Guru, David 'Dee' Delgado, Steven 'Sweatpants' Irby, Anthony B. Geathers, Ismail 'Calligrafist' Sayeed, Gabriella Angotti-Jones, and Saúl López.
Each photographer has offered a limited edition of prints of a powerful photograph chosen from their collection, sponsored by Moab Paper
A portion of proceeds will go towards Black Artist Fund, which collects donations to directly benefit individual black artists and black art organizations across the U.S.
