JUNETEENTH WEEKEND ART SALE

Juneteenth is a day to have pride in Black culture, to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US, and to promote the advancement of Black people!

Support Black-owned businesses! Black entrepreneurs nationwide have been more likely to struggle against an unjust system! Most rely on personal equity and family support to open a business rather than using traditional capital such as business loans or credit cards — which they are more likely to be denied. ⁣ ⁣

Compound, Gallery and Agency, founded by Set Free, has called upon our artist community and friends who acknowledge, respect, and honor Black Culture, American culture, through art. To celebrate Juneteenth, starting this Friday June 19, 2020 at 7am EST, shop exclusive, limited, special prints and artworks by artists: including King Saladeen, Chuck Styles, Quiana Parks, Jonni Cheatwood, O'Neil Scott, Urban Medium, kaNO, Bahar Bambi, Vera Twins, and Dragon.

Juneteenth is an opportunity to celebrate and support these artists and black-owned businesses everywhere. A percentage of all art sold will go towards DreamYard, an anti-racist organization committed to building pathways of equity and providing opportunity through the arts to Bronx youth. ⁣
